Happy Birthday Maam Cynthia P. Quimno
ON THIS DAY | CYNTHIA P. QUIMNO was born.
She started her humble beginnings in MORESCO II on June 6, 1995 as a Secretary to the General Manager and at the same time a Secretariat to the Board of Directors. After 14 years, on April 1, 2009, she got promoted as HR Chief and continued serving as a Secretary to the General Manager. On January 1, 2014 she was promoted as the Institutional Services Department Manager. And on year 2020 she was appointed as the Officer In-Charge (OIC) of the coop.
She has been to different Sitios and Barangays in the coverage area to promote IECs and especially in organizing the MCOs. Serving for more than 27 years, MORESCO II has become her home. She has seen how the coop changed, grew, and improved.
On this special day, her colleagues remembers her as a woman with strong personality who embodies empowerment. She is a strong, kind, bold, and thoughtful leader who NEVER GETS LATE in work. 
Today on her birthday, let’s get a ride and be her passenger while coloring the road with her favorite color Lavender. Cheers the day to our Institutional Manager, Maam Cynthia. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Almeda took his oath of office before Energy Secretary Raphael P.M. Lotilla (as seen in the photo).
The new NEA Administrator Antonio Mariano C. Almeda assumes office today, 21 November 2022.

4th Quarterly General Employees Meeting
MORESCO II has recently concluded its 4th Quarterly General Employees Meeting today November 11, 2022 (Friday) at 9 o’clock in the morning spearheaded by our Guest of Honor, the National Electrification Administration’s (NEA) Deputy Administrator for Electric Cooperative Management Services, ATTY. OMAR M. MAYO held at the ISD Building, Headquarter Office, Medina.
The meeting was attended by Atty. Mayo of NEA to hear the different concerns of the Coop’s Employees pertaining to their works and how to help the Cooperative to become a more productive, competitive, and innovative Electric Cooperative for the next years to come.
This meeting is a regular activity designed and aimed to inform and update employees on the status of MORESCO II as an operational and functional organization. Over and above, the said event is aimed to create an avenue where employees as well as the Management come together for fellowship.

ON THIS SAME DAY | REY MARK C. CAGAIS commonly known as "Mark" was born. He is an Electrical Engineer by profession and is the current AREA II Manager of MORESCO II. He set out his career in the coop as a Consumer Technical Service Officer (CTSO) assigned in the Institutional Services Department (ISD) on July 2016. Five years after, he was appointed as the OIC – Area Manager of AREA 2 (Sugbongcogon Sub-Office). And on November 1, 2021 as a full pledged Area Manager in Sugbongcogon Sub-Office covering the areas of Talisayan, Balingoan, Kinoguitan, Sugbongcogon, Binuangan, and Salay.
His journey in MORESCO II was like a roller coaster ride. Yet his background from different field of expertise made him the person that he is today.
As to his closest colleagues, they find Sir Mark a trustworthy boss and friend. He is always ready to lend his helping hands to others and may be the coolest captain in the office. The best Financer of his team who always look after the welfare and give support to his colleagues. A man who loves to eat Crispy Pata and Sisig.
The Area II is definitely in good hands because they have an Area Manager who is not only knowledgeable in electrical works but someone who has also a heart willing to serve beyond time given.

OCTOBER 1, 2022, ON THE SAME DAY | ENGR. ROY G. BALINGIT was born. He is an Electrical Engineer by profession and is the current Technical Services Department Manager of MORESCO II. He set out his career in the coop as a Distribution Transformer Rewinder assigned in Technical Services Department (TSD). Years passed he became the Network Services Division Supervisor then got his promotion being the Area 3 Manager handling the Municipalities of Lagonglong, Balingasag, Jasaan and Claveria. And on February 16, 2017 he became the Technical Services Department Manager.
His journey in MORESCO II was like a roller coaster ride. Yet his background from different field of expertise made him the person that he is today.
In his spare time, he used to plant different fruit trees and also like eating / trying exotic foods.
The TSD is definitely in good hands because they have a Manager who is not only knowledgeable in electrical works but someone who has also a heart willing to serve beyond time given.

Buko, Kinoguitan. Ang maong lugar gi isip nga mahimong sentro sa tourist attraction sa LGU-Kinoguitan maong ang pagpaningkamot sa lokal nga pangagamhanan aron kini mapalambo hugot gyud nga gisupporataran sa atong kooperatiba.

DAEL, Community Development Officer, JOHN CHRISTOPHER R. Scheduled Power Interruption Activity
In line with our power service interruption scheduled yesterday, August 6, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM affecting the areas of Talisayan, Balingoan, Kinoguitan, Sugbongcogon, Binuangan, and Salay.
Here are the different activities conducted by our Warriors of Light in Area 2 spearheaded by our Technical Services Department Manager, ENGR. ROY G. BALINGIT supported by our Area 2 Manager, ENGR. REY MARK C. CAGAIS.
The activities conducted highlights the preventive maintenance and servicing of our 5MVA Substation located in Sugbongcogon Sub-Office and the different rehabilitation of our dilapidated wood poles and line clearing.

NEA-EC GM Consultative Conference
IN PHOTOS: General Managers and other representatives of the 103 Electric Cooperatives nationwide participated in the NEA-EC GM Consultative Conference on 28 July 2022.
NEA Administrator Emmanuel P. Juaneza, Deputy Administrators Rossan SJ. Rosero-Lee, Sonia B. San Diego, Omar M. Mayo and Acting Deputy Administrator Ernesto O. Silvano, Jr. responded to various concerns of the power coops.
Some of the issues raised were about the franchise renewal, audit manual, performance evaluation system, CSP contracting, generation projects, income taxation, subsidy releases and loan assistance.
There were ECs who also asked for the agency's assistance on organizational restructuring, pole relocation fund and renegotiation with power generators.

National Disaster Resilience Month
In connection to Executive Order No. 29 series of 2017 issued by Malacañan Palace last June 28, 2017 wherein the order renaming the National Disaster Consciousness Month to National Disaster Resilience Month and shifting its focus from Disaster Awareness Building to Disaster Resilience took place, MORESCO II as an active partner of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) through the National Electrification Administration (NEA) joins the entire nation in this month of July in celebrating the National Disaster Resilience Month 2022 with the theme, “Sambayanang Pilipino, Nagkakaisa tungo sa Katatagan at Maunlad na Kinabukasan.”.
MORESCO II as a power distribution utility is staying true to its commitment toward its partnership with NDRRMC and NEA for having an important role in creating awareness of the importance of disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) to achieve a safer, adaptive, and resilient power distribution facilities.

MORESCO II Newly Elected Board of Directors
The district elections has finally concluded, a certain chapter has finally come to an end and the start of something new will bring hope to something great.
An Inauguration Program for our six (6) newly elected Board of Directors (BODs) took place at the ISD Building, Headquarter Office, Medina last July 7, 2022, Thursday.
1) Dir. CELEDONIO S. ROXAS – District 9 (Magsaysay)
2) Dir. SAVY JESS R. SOLDEVILLA – District 3 (Lagonglong, Salay, and Binuangan)
3) Dir. LEO G. POLLENTES – District 7 (Gingoog City West)
4) Dir. RODULFO CESAR P. OLANO – District 2 (Balingasag and Jasaan)
5) Dir. BENJAMIN A. BRADILLO – District 5 (Talisayan)
6) Dir. ULYSSES G. APDIAN – District 8 (Gingoog City East)
The Management of MORESCO II together with its employees gathered together to host the event as they welcome the newly elected Board of Directors. Present during in the said event is the Project Supervisor of MORESCO II which served as the Administering Officer of their Oath of Office, MR. PERCIVAL G. CRISOSTOMO, Acting General Manager, EDNA S. PUTIAN – DIANGO, JD, Department Managers, Employees and the families of the newly-elected Board of Directors.
After the said event, an Operational Briefing conducted by the different Department Managers happened at the Board Room, HQ Office, Medina. The briefing was designed and aimed to empower our newly-elected BODs to know the status and how the Coop works in giving Electrification Service to its valued Member-Consumer-Owners.
On the following day, July 8, 2022, Friday, their First Board Meeting was conducted following the election of BOD new set of officers. After thorough deliberation on the said meeting, the following BODs were elected in various positions, to wit:
President – Dir. Leo G. Pollentes (District 7)
Vice President – Dir. Rodulfo Cesar P. Olano (District 2)
Secretary – Dir. Savy Jess R. Soldevilla (District 3)
Treasurer – Dir. Celedonio S. Roxas (District 9)
Members:
Dir. Benjamin A. Bradillo (District 5)
Dir. Ulysses G. Apdian (District 
This event signifies the point of transition of new leadership where we can foster good working relationship, promote collaboration and innovation to lead and improve the coop. To appreciate the present, the management took also their time to honor the previous Board and Management. It may not have been as bright as it has always been, but the lessons it taught them, made them stronger. We hope and pray that our new Inaugurated BODs may continue to serve with passion and purpose. As to the management and employees part, they will remain available and supportive to the needs of the Board with the help of all those who labor in the rural electrification endeavor.
Together, as one family, this new era for the cooperative can confidently work together and can prepare the coop, employees, and MCOs for a better, efficient, and reliable electric service provider that will sustain and become a legacy to the next generation.

MORESCO II has recently concluded its 2nd Quarterly General Employees Meeting today June 3, 2022 (Friday) at 4 o’clock in the afternoon spearheaded by its Acting General Manager, Edna S. Putian-Diango, JD held at the ISD Building, Headquarter Office, Medina.
The agenda that were discussed during the said meeting are as follows:
1. Financial Condition of the Coop;
2. Salient Provision of the Code of Ethics “The Issuance of the Notice of Charge”;
3. Performance Management and Reward System “Monthly Deliverables for 2023”;
4. District Election Activities and Other Related Issues; and
5. Open Forum
The meeting is a regular activity designed and aimed to inform and update employees on the status of MORESCO II as an operational and functional organization. Over and above, the said event is aimed to create an avenue where employees as well as the Management come together for fellowship and renewal of good friendship.

ON THIS DAY | ROGELIO A. MONTALBA commonly known as "Gel / Loloy" was born. He is an Electrical Engineer by profession and is the current AREA I Manager of MORESCO II. He set out his career in the coop as a Technical Staff assigned in Internal Audit Department (IAD) on October 15, 2011. Year after, he was promoted as Technical Audit Division Chief on April 16, 2016. After practicing his position on the said Department for almost 2 and a half years, he started his career as a full pledged Area Manager in Gingoog Sub-Office covering the areas of Magsaysay, Gingoog City, and Medina on October 1, 2018.
His journey in MORESCO II was like a roller coaster ride. Yet his background from different field of expertise made him the person that he is today.
He is restrictive and practices reprimand with his subordinates during office time. As to his closest colleagues, they find Sir Rogelio funny, generous, and smart. He loves to eat native chicken (Adobo and Halang-Halang). In life, he used to live by this quote, “WALK THE TALK.”
The Area I is definitely in good hands because they have an Area Manager who is not only knowledgeable in electrical works and financial aspect but someone who has also a heart willing to serve beyond time given.

HAKBANG SA PAGBOTO KARONG MAY 9, 2022 NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTIONS
Oras sa Pagbotar: 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
1. SUMAILALIM sa temperature check bago pumasok ng voting center;
2. MAGTUNGO sa Voters’ Assistance Desk (VAD) para alamin ang iyong precinct at sequence numbers at assigned room o clustered precinct;
3. PUMUNTA sa inyong assigned room at magpakilala sa Electoral Board sa pamamagitan ng pagsabi ng inyong pangalan, precinct number at sequence number;
4. KUNIN ang balota, ballot secrecy folder at marking pen mula sa EB at magtungo sa voting area upang bumoto;
5. ITIMAN ang loob ng bilog sa unahan ng pangalan ng kandidatong nais mong iboto. Huwag bumoto ng labis sa nakatalagang bilang sa bawat posisyon;
